Who are we?
Avantium is a pioneer in the emerging industry of renewable and sustainable chemistry. We seek to take part in the opportunities of the transition towards a circular economy to create value for our stakeholders and society as a whole. Avantium’s mission is to aid the transition to a fossil-free world by developing ground-breaking products based on renewable feedstock instead of fossil resources. Specific catalysts and process conditions (flows, temperatures, pressures, etc.) of customers are treated to achieve the desired objectives. Our team work for the project leaders to translate project conditions into our self-developed high throughput flow units, which are used internally to run projects. The flow units are built, maintained, adjusted, calibrated and tested by the Lab Technicians to ultimately carry out the project together with the rest of the project team.
